| System Requirements: |
- Personal computer with a minimum 500 MHz Pentium-class microprocessor (1 GHz recommended)
- 128 MB RAM (256 MB recommended)
- Windows 2000/XP
- DVD reader and preferably a DVD writer
- About 5 GB of temporary available hard-drive space is necessary to convert DVDs.

| Preparing process: |
| Step1: Run DVD-Cloner V. |
| Step2: Click "DVD to SVCD" button to download DVD to SVCD. |

Click green button. A prompt window will pop up. Click "YES" button to open the download page. |
| Click the download button or DVD to SVCD box to open the download details page. Then click the download link to download DVD to SVCD. |
| Step3: Install DVD to SVCD. |
| When the download process finished, please double click the exe file to install DVD to SVCD. |
| Now, you have install DVD to SVCD to your computer. |
Backup DVD movie to SVCD disc: |
| Step1: Open DVD to SVCD. |
| Click green button to open DVD to SVCD and exit DVD-Cloner V. You can see the interface of DVD to SVCD like following. |

| Step2: Select source and target path. |
- Source is DVD disc:
When the source is DVD disc, please insert your DVD disc to DVD drive. If you have just one DVD drive, the DVD to SVCD will list the DVD drive in the source path box. If you have more than one DVD drive, you have to choose your source DVD disc from the drop-down list for you source.
- Source is ifo file:
When the source is ifo file on your hard drive, please click the folder on the right of the source drop-down bar to open the folder and choose your ifo file for the source of DVD to SVCD backuping.

| Then click the folder of target file area to choose a folder to save the SVCD file in DVD to SVCD converting. |
| The source and target information will list at the box under the source and target area. |
| Step3: Click start button to backup DVD movie to SVCD. |
| Then the DVD to SVCD will ask you put a CD-R/CD-RW disk into the burner. Insert a blank disc to DVD burner, then DVD to SVCD will burn the SVCD file to disc. |
