Copy protected DVD to SVCD: |
| Step1: Download DVD to SVCD. |
Download DVD-Cloner V trial version for free. Install it on your computer. Then click the green button  to open DVD to SVCD introduction page. Click download button to open download page, then click download link to download DVD to SVCD. And install it.
Note: The DVD-Cloner trial version allow you to copy a whole DVD for free. If you want to copy DVD without any limitation, please order full version. |
| Step2: Run DVD to SVCD. |
| Click DVD to SVCD icon or the green button on DVD-Cloner to run DVD to SVCD. |

| Step3: Source and target. |
| Insert your DVD disc into DVD driver if the source file is on disc. Then click source drop down bar to choose the protected DVD disc for source file. Click source folder to choose IFO file of your protected DVD movie for your source. |

| You can choose disc or folder for target. If you have another DVD burner, you can insert the blank disc into DVD driver, and choose this disc for target in target drop down bar. Otherwise, you can save SVCD target file on your hard drive by click the target folder button. |
| Step4: Settings. |
Click options button  to open setting window. |
| You can add region code to your target SVCD video, NTSC or PAL. Choose SVCD at MPEG options. Set your TV screen size for small, medium or full. You can define the chapter length at pieces item. Choose your burn driver. Not need to change if your burner run normally. |

Change DVD to SVCD working speed and CPU type at "Advanced" windows. Click "Chapter" button to select your favorite chapters you want to copy. You can change the caption and audio of chapters.
Note: you can enable the "shutdown computer when done". |

| Then click "OK" to save settings. |
| Step5: Click start button to copy protected DVD to SVCD. |
